Demune is a force to be dealt with on stage and record. A kaleidoscope of style and talent, yet it is his proficiency and dexterity as an emcee that has earned him notoriety.

Spending most of his life between California and Hawai'i, Demune now resides in Portland, Oregon. During the time that he has spent in the City of Roses, he has played alongside such local talent as The Salmon River Project, The Phorx, Mentor, Lxor, Noah 23, Barracuda, and Juha, amongst others. Some Portland venues you might have seen him performing in are Barbati's Pan, the Ash Street Saloon, and Outlawz.

Demune's latest releases "Crossbreeding and Grafting" and "Crossbreeding and Grafting / Fossils" can be found on record label Ponowai Flora. The label also hosts artists Ancient Mith and Otem Rellik of Colorado. "Crossbreeding and Grafting," released in 2006, received international distribution in both Europe and Asia. Recently Demune and fellow label mates were interviewed by the Germany based magazine Dead Mag. Included in the same issue were interviews with Aesop Rock, Kool Keith, and Boom Bip. Other entities Demune has been interviewed by are the Dis Eased Wrekkids Zine, Quad Mag, MauiTime Weekly, and 808 Scene Zine.

Performing since the mid nineties, he is a veteran of the stage with a captivating live show. I quote one writer in saying, "He stuns crowds with his powerful command of the stage, piercingly effective words, and masterfully executed delivery." During May and April of 2007 Demune was an artist on the Tora De Flora Tour that played numerous venues in Europe. In 2006, Demune was also an artist on the North American Going for Broke Tour with members of the Visionaries.

Whether stimulating crowds, creating albums, or mixing music for other artists Demune has been productive in the last decade. Since the beginning of the 21st century he has had a creative hand in seven DIY releases. A couple of past highlights are "The Attack of the Zombie King..." ( a zombie themed adventure album ) with the Mole of Motion Recordings, and being featured on the movie soundtrack for The Job ( starring Darryl Hannah ) with the song "Post Thoughts" from former group DSAnalog. Demune has taken part in multiple internationally distributed compilations, including Plague Language's popular "Farewell Archetypes part I and II" released by Subversiv* Music. Consistently collaborating with new artists you'll find Demune featured on underground hip hop albums in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Making a strong impression on both the hybrid and traditional enthusiast, he carries an original sound that can only be described as Demune.
